Choosing a video production company.

I have been asked several times recently the difference between the various filming formats: Here is the answer: DVCAM = 720x576 low quality: HDV= HD 1440x1080 good quality: NXCAM = HD 1920x1080 high quality: XDCAM = HD 1920x1080 high quality with a higher recording bit rate, mainly used to comply with broadcast specs. When commissioning a production company HDV should be the minimum to expect.
